This is a unique hand-made Easter egg (goose size) on the separable stand hand-carved from natural wood and hand-painted by me in a special way to make your holiday cozy and warm.
CHARACTERISTICS:
★ SAFE MATERIALS: the Egg and the stand are made of natural linden wood characterized as a light, soft wood which is easily worked and very stable.
★ UNIQUE DESIGN HAND-MADE WITH LOVE:
It was carefully hand-painted by me with Petrykivka painting ornament included in the list of cultural inheritance of the world by UNESCO. Petrykivka painting is traditional Ukrainian decorative painting style named after the village it originated from. The people of the village of Petrykivka (where I am from) decorate their homes, household belongings with a style of ornamental painting that is characterized by fantastic flowers and other natural elements, based on careful observation of the local flora and fauna. This art is rich in symbolism: birds represent light, harmony and happiness. In folk belief, the paintings protect people from sorrow and evil.
After painting I covered the wooden egg with 3 layers of varnish to provide long life and never tarnishing colors.
